Initially it was a joke “You guys don’t think you could put a lens on a Mavic, could you?”. We made it a reality without support from DJI. Testing-heavy development, a Kickstarter campaign with talent partnerships, pushing supplier relationships to their max, and supporting it while in customers hands. Even with a successful Kickstarter campaign and initial release, timing was not great as COVID would soon hit and the “travel-feels” drone boom was slowly quieting. We learned enormously about what it takes to bring drone products and accessories to market.
